Conference venue in Niamey – to be confirmed.
Arrival in Niamey
Participants coming from outside Niger should arrive in Niamey on March 28 or 29, 2020. Invited participants will be requested to share their flight itineraries with the conference organisers to enable airport transfer arrangements.
Confirmed attendees will be welcomed at Diori Hamani International Airport by CARE Niger drivers and taken to the hotels where their reservations have been made in advance and where they will be accommodated throughout their stay in Niger. At the airport, the drivers will be provided with a sign where CARE Niger is mentioned or the Participants at ALFA Sahel 2020. Departure from Niamey should be scheduled for April 1, 2020 or for those staying on for the science conference, from April 4, 2020.
All persons entering Niger must be in possession of a valid passport or travel documents specifying the identity of their owner. A security briefing for visitors from outside Niger will be provided on Sunday, March 29 and/or Monday, March 30.
